Brief Description
Fused mullite is a refractory material made from raw materials such as high-purity alumina and quartz sand by melting in an electric arc furnace. It uses a high-temperature electric arc to melt the raw materials in the furnace and gradually cool them to form blocks or granules. This material has the characteristics of high purity, high density, excellent refractory properties and chemical stability, as well as low iron content, low alkali metal content and low moisture content.

Application
Fused Mullite is widely used in manufacturing many refractory products,like the low creep-rupture bricks for the hot-air stove,melting-iron groove or torpedo car,high-temperature industrial kiln,glass melting furnace,as well as in producing high-temperature saggers or shed planks,etc.
