Brief Description
Fused magnesia alumina spinel is a new type of high-purity synthetic refractory material. It is made of alumina and high-purity light-burned magnesium oxide as the main raw materials. It is melted in an electric arc furnace at a temperature of more than 2000°C and then cooled. Its chemical composition is mainly composed of magnesium (Mg) and aluminum (Al) oxides, and the chemical formula is roughly MgAl₂O₄. This material has the characteristics of high bulk density, low water absorption, high temperature resistance, small thermal expansion coefficient, good thermal stability, good appearance and color, and strong slag and erosion resistance.

Application
It is widely used in iron and steel melting, cement rotary kiln and glass furnace,as the ideal material for manufacturing cast sliding plate,nozzle bricks,ladle bricks and open hearth furnace bricks,as well as the basic material for transition zone bricks of large cement kilns,medium cement kilns,refractory castable materials,and first-class and medium-class kiln furniture.
