Brief Description
Calcinated bauxite refers to the product of heating bauxite to a high temperature (usually between 1300℃ and 1500℃) to make it undergo physical and chemical changes, remove moisture, organic matter and crystal water, thereby improving its density, refractoriness and chemical stability.
The calcined bauxite is harder and denser than the unheat-treated bauxite. Its alumina content is increased, the amount of impurities is slightly increased, the volume is reduced, the structure changes from loose to dense and hard, the refractoriness is improved, and the slag resistance and alkali resistance are enhanced. This calcined bauxite has a wide range of applications in the refractory industry and is an important raw material for manufacturing high-performance refractory materials.
Product Characteristics
Strict sorting,high sintering temperature,full reacting,dense structure,and low impurity. Customizingvarious aggregates and powder depends on the requirements.

Application
In the metallurgical industry, calcined bauxite is widely used as lining material for high-temperature steelmaking furnaces, blast furnaces, converters, electric furnaces and other furnaces;
It is also used to make high-temperature materials such as refractory bricks and refractory fibers, as well as refractory aggregates and powders for amorphous refractory materials;
