Product Introduction
Diatomite thermal insulation bricks are made of high-quality diatomite. it contains a large number of micropores and has the advantages of light weight, high compressive strength, low bulk density, small thermal conductivity, good energy-saving and thermal insulation effects, high quality and low price.
Diatomite insulation bricks have the following characteristics:
Light weight: Due to its porous structure, the bulk density of diatomite insulation bricks is low, usually between 0.4 and 0.7g/cm³23.
High compressive strength: The compressive strength at room temperature is high, generally between 1 and 2MPa.
Low thermal conductivity: The thermal conductivity at room temperature is low, generally between 0.13 and 0.20W/(m·K), and has a good thermal insulation effect.
High refractoriness: The refractoriness is greater than 1250℃, suitable for high temperature environments.
High porosity: The apparent porosity is greater than 70%, and the thermal insulation performance is excellent.

Application
Diatomite insulating brick is largely used in the tunnel kilnsand various furnaces where the thermal insulation is needed.
It is mostly applied heat preservation of pipeline transportation equipments of the gas and the liquid in electric power, metallurgy, engineering, chemical industry, petroleum industries etc. Also, it is used to the thermal protective coating of high temperature pyrology equipment within electric furnace, heating furnace, steel furnace, annealing furnace, and glass furnace etc.
