Alumina Silica Refractory Bricks(Al-Si Bricks)

Alumina silica refractory bricks are refractory products with alumina (Al2O3) and silicon dioxide (SiO2) as the main components. According to the different components of alumina (Al2O3) and silicon dioxide (SiO2), alumina-silicon refractory bricks can be further divided into the following categories:
▸Silica brick: SiO2 content ≥93%;
▸Semi-silica: Al2O3 content 15%-30%;
▸Clay: Al2O3 content 30%-48%;
▸High alumina: Al2O3 content ≥48%;
▸Mullite: Al2O3 content ≥72%, SiO2 content ≥28%;
▸Corundum: Al2O3 content ≥90%.

Alumina silica refractory bricks are widely used in high-temperature kilns in the steel, non-ferrous metals, glass, ceramics and other industrial fields due to their good high temperature resistance, thermal shock resistance and slag resistance.

Main Component: 94-96% SiO2

Refractoriness Under Load: 1630-1680°C

Fire Clay Brick

Main Component: 25-42% Al2O3;

Refractoriness Under Load: 1250-1400℃;

Application: mainly divided into clay refractory bricks for blast furnaces, clay refractory bricks for hot blast furnaces, and large clay refractory bricks for coke ovens and glass kilns;

Main Component: 48-80% Al2O3;

Refractoriness Under Load: 1420-1530℃;

Application: Mainly used in high-temperature industrial furnaces such as steel, cement, glass and other industries;

Main Component: 93-98% Al2O3;

Refractoriness Under Load: 1680-1700℃;

➤Rongsheng Refractory Brick Manufacture Lining

The initial step in producing brick is crushing and grinding the raw materials in a separator and a jaw crusher. Next, the blend of ingredients desired for each particular batch is selected and filtered before being sent on to one of three brick shaping processes—extrusion, molding, or pressing, the first of which is the most adaptable and thus the most common. Once the bricks are formed and any subsequent procedures performed, they are dried to remove excess moisture that might otherwise cause cracking during the ensuing firing process. Next, they are fired in ovens and then cooled. Finally, they are dehacked—automatically stacked, wrapped with steel bands, and padded with plastic corner protectors.
