Brief Description
Black Silicon Carbide is produced at high temperature in an electric resistance type furnace with quarts sand and petroleum coke. Its grains are black hexagonal crystals with fragile and sharp properties. It has extreme hardness, high electric and thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion. We can supply different grades 98%,95%,90%,88%,etc.

Application
The application of black silicon carbide in refractory materials includes high-temperature furnace components (such as furnace linings, furnace tubes, etc.), support parts (such as furnace bottom support beams, brackets, etc.), metallurgical deoxidizers, and high-temperature resistant materials (such as the lining of high-temperature reactors, the insulation layer of high-temperature pipelines, etc.).
Different grades of black silicon carbide powder can also be used to manufacture different grades of refractory products. For example, primary silicon carbide is often used to manufacture high-grade silicon carbide products, secondary silicon carbide is used to manufacture kiln components resistant to medium high temperatures, and tertiary silicon carbide is used as lining materials for ladles, iron troughs, etc.
