Brief Description
Active alumina powder refers to powdered alumina products with reactive or adsorption activity under certain conditions. It is usually made of industrial aluminum hydroxide powder, which is heated, melted and recrystallized in an electric arc furnace.
In the field of refractory materials, the addition of activated alumina powder can improve the bulk density, flexural strength and compressive strength of refractory castables, and is also beneficial to improve the high temperature performance and slag resistance of the material.
