Product Introduction
Lightweight silica brick, also known as silica insulation brick, is a lightweight refractory material with a silica content of more than 91% and a bulk density of less than 1.2g/cm3. It has the characteristics of low thermal conductivity, good volume stability, high refractoriness under load, and high working temperature.
● Refractoriness: The refractoriness and load softening temperature of lightweight silica brick are not much different from those of ordinary silica bricks with the same composition, so it can maintain stability in high temperature environments.
● Compressive strength: Due to its porous structure, the compressive strength, slag resistance and corrosion resistance of lightweight silica bricks are lower than those of ordinary silica bricks.
● Thermal shock resistance: Although the performance is not as good as ordinary silica bricks in some aspects, the thermal shock resistance of lightweight silica bricks has been improved, which makes it more suitable for occasions that need to withstand frequent temperature changes.

Application
Widely used in the insulation layer of industrial kilns, such as glass kilns, hot air furnaces, etc., to improve the thermal insulation performance of kilns and reduce energy consumption. It is also suitable for other industrial fields that require light weight, high temperature resistance and good thermal insulation performance.
