Product Introduction
High chrome brick (also known as high chrome refractory brick) is a special refractory material mainly composed of chromium oxide (Cr₂O₃) and aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃). Due to its excellent high temperature performance and corrosion resistance, it is widely used in specific high temperature and corrosive environments.
High temperature strength and stability:
High chrome bricks have good mechanical strength and structural stability at high temperatures, and can maintain their physical properties in high temperature environments for a long time.
Excellent corrosion resistance:
It has strong resistance to acidic and alkaline slag corrosion, and is particularly suitable for use in environments with strong chemical corrosion.
Oxidation resistance:
High chrome bricks have good oxidation resistance and can maintain their stability in oxidizing atmospheres.
Thermal shock stability:
High chrome bricks have good thermal shock stability and can withstand rapid changes in temperature without cracking, which is suitable for industrial kilns with large temperature fluctuations.
Low thermal conductivity:
High chrome bricks have low thermal conductivity, which helps to improve the thermal efficiency of the kiln and reduce heat loss.
Wear resistance:
Under high temperature conditions, high chrome bricks have high surface hardness and excellent wear resistance, and are suitable for industrial kiln parts with severe wear.

Application
Cement rotary kiln:
High chrome bricks are usually used in the firing zone and transition zone of cement rotary kiln. These areas have high temperatures and strong chemical corrosion, and high chrome bricks can cope with these challenges well.
Glass melting furnace:
The kiln pool of the glass melting furnace requires highly resistant materials due to the corrosion of molten glass. High chrome bricks have strong resistance to molten glass corrosion and are suitable for these parts.
Metallurgical industry:
In non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces, such as copper and aluminum smelting furnaces, high chrome bricks are often used in areas that contact molten metal and slag because they can withstand high temperature corrosion of these materials.
Some furnaces in the steel industry, such as the linings of electric arc furnaces (EAF) and converters (BOF), also use high chrome bricks to cope with high temperatures and slag corrosion.
Chemical industry:
High chrome bricks are used in some chemical reactors and waste incinerators, which require refractory materials with high temperature stability and chemical corrosion resistance.
